Thanks so much for your understanding and support. The attached files are the information about the Installation exhibition "Lure" which is presented for the San Francisco International Art Festival, and the lectures that will be provided during the Exhibition.
To crate more opportunity for Asia Communities of the San Francisco Bay Area to appreciate more about the contemporary art, and to know more about the culture activities of the Bay Area, as the presenter of "Lure", I would like to propose an idea to you and ANCCS. If there are 50 your faculty members like to attend one of the exhibition lecture, I am willing to offer a free shuttle bus for their commute.

進入一流名校致勝之道講座
由世界日報、智勝教育中心共同舉辦的「從2007-08美國大學錄取結果解析進入一流名校致勝之道」免費大型教育講座，5月4日(周日)下午1:15-4:00在Cupertino
Community Hall舉辦，座談主持人是柏克萊大學教育執照顧問Steven
Ma(馬振翼)，邀請的來賓包括康乃爾大學入學面試官Albert
Yu、柏克萊大學教育執照顧問David
Brothers、史丹福大學、長春藤名校自傳輔導升學專家Cecilia
Yen、前UC
聖地牙哥大學入學審查官Eddie LaMeire等。
這一場教育講座，座談內容包括「從2007-08入學結果，解析長春藤、史丹福、柏克萊等各名校未來錄取方式」、「2006-07年起，名校申請人數暴增，入學比例銳減，此趨勢將延申至2012年，學生該如何面對與應變」、「成績不好學生，該如何利用「個人特質」挑戰心目中理想名校」、「太早準備SATI以及SATII考試是好事情嗎」、「面對愈來愈烈的大學入學競爭，低年級學生該如何按部就班的提早做準備，輕鬆進入名校」。座談並邀請專家學者共同探討升學教育的趨勢和方向，為家長和學子們建立最正確的觀念。
除了專家學者外，主辦單位還邀請了三名今年新申請入大學的高中學生，包括申請到史丹福大學的Marvin
Shu、申請到康乃爾大學的Leslie
Wu，以及申請到柏克萊大學的Andrew
Pai，其中Andrew
Pai是新移民，移民美國一年半的時間，座談中將分享他們寶貴的升學經驗。座談採國、英雙語進行，目的為方便家長和子女共同聆聽。

校長、各位理事收信好：
(如您不是貴校CSL座談代表，煩請吉便代為轉致)
為提供所屬會員學校CSL班教學討論溝通機會以解決各校所面臨不同的問題或瓶頸。北加州中文學校聯合會訂於五月四日藉文化常識比賽同日下午一點到三點整舉辦本會會員學校CSL班座談會，地點在世界日報活動中心(231 Adrian Road, Millbrae, CA 94030)。
以下三件事敬希垂注：
1. 為配合文化常識比賽期間，賽場不准出入原則，本座談會時間為下午一點到三點，請準時於一點前入場。萬一遲到，您可以走左道旁門(由世界書局借道進入)；也可以走後門(世界日報兩棟建築中間的門)，請勿由世界日報活動中心大門進出，以免影響比賽，謝謝！
2. 座談會由本會租借場地，旨在供各校CSL教務相關人員一個交流座談的機會，會中將提供精美小點以助談興(那時大家應該剛吃飽，所以精美小點的重點在"小"這個字)。(未先知會出席之會員學校若臨時起意欲參與，無任歡迎，但屆時若精美小點不太夠，只好委屈您枵腹從公囉。)
3. 依我收到的回信(包括今早幾個晚到的鳥兒在內)，共有八校十四人預定出席。現擬安排前四十分鐘供各校介紹現行所使用之教材或理想中將使用的教材(每校五分鐘，建議攜帶教材樣品，將會比只用嘴巴講來得寫實)，剩餘的八十分鐘開放自由座談(我想應該夠用；萬一您覺得不夠的話，可以留下繼續談到四點四十分再"出關"，總之點心有限，歡樂無窮！^_^)。
